The Cork Sunglasses and Tray
Available Friday, November 22nd, 11am PST
Americans buy 4.2 billion bottles of wine every year. About 65% of those bottles use natural-cork stoppers. The material is nearly infinitely recyclable and Ridwell members have kept nearly two million corks out of the landfill over the past six years.
Did you know cork is ideal for lots of other uses, too? You can find cork shoes, yoga mats and blocks, sunglasses, toys, and even floor coverings and wall coverings—all 100% sustainable. Our partner Jelinek is dedicated to preserving cork by using it to create high-quality products.

Folks at Jelinek ground your corks into granules that can be reused again. Even stained corks can be part of this process!

Once they created the granules, Jelinek formed them into bespoke items that will hold up for years.
