Ridwell Pop-Up Memberships

For $6 per month, you get unlimited access to two drop off events every month. We will accept our favorite categories: plastic film, multi-layer plastic, threads, batteries, and light bulbs. Plus, our add-on categories (Styrofoam, #1 PET clamshells and fluorescent light tubes) are free to drop off!

*For members in Unincorporated Washington County, Unincorporated Clackamas County, and the City of Gresham

We send Pop-Up members an email with RSVP and location info before each Pop-Up. Please keep an eye on your inbox!

How much does a Ridwell Pop-Up membership cost?

Access to our Pop-Up service is $6 per month and includes two Pop-Up opportunities. We’ll charge your card on file automatically each month (or take $6 monthly from any credit you have from a membership paid upfront) and you’ll receive emails with information on upcoming Pop-Ups no fewer than 4 days before the next one occurs.

What can I bring to a Ridwell Pop-Up event?

Bring us all your favorite hard-to-recycle Ridwellables:
-plastic film
-multi-layer plastic
-threads
-batteries
-light bulbs
-rotating featured category
Plus, our add-on categories, Styrofoam, #1 PET clamshells, and fluorescent light tubes are free to drop off!

When/where will Ridwell Pop-Up events be held?

We want to provide Pop-Ups as frequently as we provided pickups, so we offer Pop-Up members two Pop-Ups events per month!

We currently have two separate Pop-Up schedules, one for Pop-Up members east of the river and one for Pop-Up members west of the river, so that we can offer locations that are convenient for members in each area. Pop-Ups on the west side are generally in Beaverton, and Pop-Ups on the east side are generally in Gresham.

If you would like to change from one Pop-Up schedule to the other, reach out to us at help@ridwell.com and we’ll be happy to assist! At this time we are unable to support the ability to choose your location on a Pop-Up by Pop-Up basis.

Can I bring previous Featured Categories to Ridwell Pop-Ups?

Because we try to get our featured categories into the hands of our partners as quickly as possible, we’re able to collect only the featured category advertised for the current Pop-Up. We’d love to give you some options for taking care of those other featured categories, however! Please feel free to email us at help@ridwell.com and we’re happy to assist.

I’m not a member, but I’ve heard about the Pop-Ups in my area. Can I bring my stuff?

Thanks for asking! At this time, our Pop-Ups are limited to existing Ridwell members in Unincorporated Washington and Clackamas Counties and Gresham City. We truly appreciate your interest though, and hope to be able to expand this offering in the future!

Can I bring my neighbors’ items with me?

We hope to roll this out on a broader scale one day, but for right now, we’d love to help you recycle your household’s Ridwellables only.

Can I join this service even if I don’t live in Unincorporated Washington County, Unincorporated Clackamas County, or Gresham?

Thanks for your interest! At this time, this service is only available to Ridwell members in unincorporated Washington County, Unincorporated Clackamas County, and Gresham who aren’t currently eligible for our standard Ridwell pickup service.

Will the pickup service ever return?

We are continuing to look for opportunities to bring our standard Ridwell service back, but do not currently have a good sense of when that might happen.

Is there any flexibility on the term of payment? Can I prepay for a number of months in advance?

Not at this time, just the $6 monthly and we'll take from any prepaid amount that may exist on your account first!

When does the $6 payment go through monthly?

Charges go through at the beginning of each month.

What day(s) of the week, and for how many hours on that day, will the Pop-Ups take place?

Pop-Ups are on Saturdays, and generally run from 10am to 2pm.
