Spread the word: LA wants to waste less
We’re waiting on one LA Sanitation permit so we can expand into the city of Los Angeles—and you can help by sending a loud and clear message that you want more opportunities to send less to landfills.
This letter from LA-based nonprofit organizations outlines the reasons that planet-minded people want Ridwell in town. We so appreciate the support of these groups!
Please read and share the letter to help amplify the message.

To Whom It May Concern:
We are writing to encourage you to support the growth of Ridwell’s service in the Los Angeles area.
Ridwell’s innovative approach to collecting and responsibly managing items that are often difficult to recycle or reuse through curbside programs will directly benefit our organizations and the work we do in the community. From keeping plastic out of the ocean to getting school supplies into the hands of underserved children, Ridwell’s new approach to helping households waste less and find a second life for common items fills an important need in our community.
We must embrace new ideas and approaches if we are going to make real progress on the social and environmental challenges that our organizations seek to address every single day. Complex, entrenched problems like plastic pollution, unhoused families, educational inequity and food insecurity will only be solved with an “all of the above” approach that welcomes new services like Ridwell to the area.
Thank you for supporting organizations like Ridwell and helping local nonprofits like ours continue to grow and expand our impact in Southern California.
Sincerely,
