Between November and the new year, US consumers produce an additional 2.9 billion pounds of trash per week—8,667 times the weight of the Statue of Liberty.

Holiday gifts alone add 5 billion pounds to the landfill every year. It’s easy to feel like you can’t celebrate unless you’re willing to create extra waste.

That’s why we created Green Friday Goods, full-circle products that empower you to enjoy the season without the waste.

You shouldn’t have to choose between sustainability and convenience.

Green Friday Goods are made from upcycled material and delivered right to your doorstep.

    The Denim Pouch

    An incredible six billion pairs of jeans are produced annually and 30% are never worn. These pouches keep hundreds of pairs out of the landfill, just some of the 7,500 pounds our community collected in July.

    Millions of skis are disposed of every year and they’re virtually impossible to recycle. Ridwell members kept 400 pairs out of the landfill in just one pickup. Now, they’re one-of-a-kind earrings.

    Billions of pounds of multi-layer plastic end up in the landfill every year. Each of these pots uses 100+ snack packages collected in our first-of-its-kind multi-layer-plastic recycling program.

    Americans buy 4.2 billion bottles of wine every year and our community has recycled nearly 2 million corks. These coasters are the first-ever chance to enjoy what they became.

    Thirteen million tons of textile waste are created every year. Only 1% is recycled. Ridwell members gathered 9,100 pounds of outerwear in May and much of it was repurposed for these colorful bags.

  • Receive your order starting 12/4. We expect all items to be dropped off by 12/15, 2023

  • Ridwell members will be able to shop when the store opens on 11/13. (Not a member? Check out our plans!) Products are then released one per day until 11/17. Want first dibs? Sign up for early access alert SMS to find out when your favorite product goes on sale!

  • When you sign up for early access via SMS, we’ll send you a text one hour before we let everyone else know when a product goes on sale.
