The Ridwell community in Denver is growing!
Two innovative recycling companies have become one!
The Happy Beetle has officially joined forces with Ridwell. Both services have been helping people in Denver send less to landfills and we’re thrilled to bring our communities together.
What will this change look like? The Happy Beetle will be integrated into Ridwell. The Happy Beetle members who transition to Ridwell membership will enjoy more frequent pickups of hard-to-recycle items, Ridwell bins at their front doors, access to a fantastic member service team, the convenience of the Ridwell iOS app, and expanded materials collection—including multi-layer plastic, a notoriously difficult material used in food packaging for things like chips and snack bars.
The Happy Beetle members will also be able to continue supporting local nonprofit organizations through featured category pickups with Ridwell, contributing a variety of reusable goods to local partners including Metro Caring, WeeCycle, and The Gathering Place.
Happy Beetle members can expect emails outlining the changes and the simple steps to transition their service. Denver is about to send even less waste to landfills! For more details, check out our official announcement.
